I am interested in continuing to learn more about the relationship between the digitization of collection materials and any increase or decrease in use that results from the creation of the digital surrogate. Though this has been conducted as a pilot study I am still interested in hearing responses from others in the field. This web site offers one forum for discussion of preservation issues related to the growth of digital systems and digital collections. Understanding use trends will enable library and information professionals to better prepare and plan for the future.
